Jason E. Daggett serves as Chief Operating Officer of MJ Venture Partners (MJVP). Jason is an experienced Business Operations, Corporate Finance and Management Consultant who also serves as the Managing Partner + Director of Operations at Yuengling’s Ice Cream – Retail & Online Distributors, LLC, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s micro-regional sales footprint in the Northeastern United States to include distribution throughout the Southeast, Midwest and West Coast. Prior to his operating roles at MJVP and Yuengling’s Ice Cream – Retail & Online Distributors, Jason acted as Special Advisor to the CIO at two Family Offices; Lowcountry Property & Investment Management Services LLC and Fi$cally Fit LLC. He also held the role of Head Trader & Member of the Board of Advisors at Legacy Investments & Development LP, where he designed and directed investment decision making and asset allocation modeling.
Jason has extensive experience in matters related to corporate finance and private to public company transitions, having raised over $100MM, as a previously registered representative holding Series 7, 63 and 64 licenses, for companies currently listed on the Pink, OTCQB and Nasdaq exchanges. In 1997, following two years as a Clinical Psychologist in Beverly Hills, CA, Jason entered the financial markets as a High Net Worth & Institutional account executive before moving into the roles of Analyst & Institutional Trader for The Mezzanine Capital Fund, a publicly traded closed end fund + seatholding Member on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. In 2001, Jason co-founded and co-managed Trymetris Capital Management LLC, a Newport Beach, CA based activist Hedge Fund where Fund investments lead him to roles including Audit Committee Chair, Business Development Director, CFO and Board Member in sectors ranging from offshore IT outsourcing, gaming, property management and credit card processing.
Mr. Daggett is a former collegiate hockey player who remains an avid fan of the sport. A recreational golfer, tennis player & outdoorsman, Jason is a proud graduate of Cathedral Preparatory School, Mercyhurst College (BA – Psychology) and Pepperdine University (MA / MFCC – Clinical Psychology).
